Since the first semester of 2006 the Designing program works with children form the first section (Elementary School) of the school Gimnasio Moderno in Bogotá.

Additionally, to the purpose of comprehending the elements and principles of architecture and city, there is the purpose of associate the comprehension of space, to the education and learning of mathematics.  The elementary representation of real architectonic spaces and elements facilitates to the children the comprehension of the abstract language that’s used through out the logical mathematical thinking.  The architectonical space provides real pedagogical sceneries, whose representation develops the taste for mathematical thinking, and additionally allows it to be involved with contents of other knowledge areas: social sciences, science, and arts.

These types of reflections are made through out the representation in drawings and elementary models, of city’s spaces visited with the children accompanied by their teachers.
